The #ASIFAC Virtual Animation Festival and Conference is hosted by ASIFA-South International Animation Society. For 2022, We will be hosting a hybrid festival on site at the Georgia State Museum of Papermaking with online events and an in-person party and awards ceremony. We are excited to bring 2 full days of virtual panels, screenings, and activities. Learn about virtual production from industry experts and studios from Awesome Inc, Primal Screen, Trioscope/School of Humans, and watch curated animated shorts. Join and vote in our Puppetry VS Animation Slam, form a team to compete in our Live Animation Voice Over battle, and more!

All entries must be submitted as an online screener. (Vimeo preferred). If your animation is selected, we may contact you to ask you for playable required formats.

20 minutes or less for shorts

Films for Southern Spotlight category must be made in the South/ Filmmaker resident or local from the South Eastern Ties. (Maryland is included)

Films made internationally will not be considered for "Best of the South" award.

Stop motion and Puppet Films considered if up to 80% of content is animated
